苹果清理废弃软件应用名不得超50字母

苹果公司宣布将会对开发商废弃的软件进行大规模清理，并规定iOS应用软件名字的长度不得超过五十个字母。



苹果方面表示，判定一款软件被废弃的标准包括：存在问题而且没有跟随最近新发布的iOS或者macOS版本进行兼容性升级的软件;没有实现所宣称功能的软件;不符合目前审核标准的旧软件等。


如果苹果发现了以上这些存在问题的软件，将会给开发人员发出电子邮件，通知他们在三十天内进行修改升级，如果开发者做不到，则苹果将会在软件商店中彻底删除这些旧软件。


此外，苹果还宣布APP Store的产品英文名字长度不得超过五十个字母。 苹果表示，冗长的软件名字将不会被全部显示，而这也降低了用户体验。


据悉，清理旧软件和名字长度限制的措施，将会从9月7日开始生效。同一天，苹果将举行秋季新品发布会，发布新版本手机和智能手表等产品。
