据外媒报道，美国当地时间周一，电动汽车制造商特斯拉表示，其车辆没有意外加速问题。此前，美国安全监管机构宣布对一份请愿书进行评估，这份请愿书要求调查并召回约50万辆特斯拉电动汽车，理由是它们涉嫌存在缺陷。

上周五，美国国家公路交通安全管理局(NHTSA)表示，站长资源平台将开始评估这份请愿书，并发布了经过编辑的版本，称“特斯拉汽车的意外加速速度远远超过道路上行驶的其他汽车。”

请愿书敦促NHTSA召回从2013年开始生产的所有特斯拉汽车，包括Model S、Model X以及Model 3。请愿书中援引了媒体关于特斯拉车辆意外加速造成撞车的报道，并向NHTSA提出了投诉。

对此，特斯拉表示，请愿书“完全是伪造的”，是由卖空者捏造的。此前有媒体报道称，目前做空特斯拉股票的布莱恩·斯帕克斯(Brian Sparks)于9月份向NHTSA提交了请愿书。

特斯拉在博客文章中表示：“在过去的几年里，我们与NHTSA讨论了请愿书中描述的大部分投诉。在我们与他们评估的每个案例中，数据都证明车辆运行正常。”

特斯拉经常与包括NHTSA和NTSB在内的政府监管机构打交道。在最新声明中，该公司称其“对NHTSA保持透明，并经常与他们共同评估客户对意外加速问题的投诉。”

特斯拉首席执行官埃隆·马斯克(Elon Musk)长期以来始终在抨击卖空者，声称他们散布关于该公司的谎言，并得到石油公司的资助。马斯克曾经说过，他认为卖空者正在“拼命推动一种可能导致特斯拉破产的说法”。

斯帕克斯和NHTSA没有立即回复记者的置评请求。
