苹果拟巨额投资OLED屏幕工厂保供应破垄断！据外媒报道，作为OLED屏幕市场的龙头老大，三星是今年唯一能为苹果提供稳定屏幕供应的厂商，它们也顺理成章的成了iPhone 8屏幕的独家供应商。不过，苹果可不想把鸡蛋都放在自己主要对手篮子里，它们准备对LG子公司LG Display进行投资，为自己打造一个稳定的OLED屏幕供应链。



据悉，两家公司已经基本达成一致，苹果将为LG的OLED屏幕生产线提供前期投资，而这些生产线产出的OLED屏幕将独家供应苹果产品。


如今，三星是OLED屏幕市场的领军厂商，在小尺寸面板上，三星独占95%的市场份额。为了继续保持统治地位，上周三星还宣布将投资210亿美元建设世界最大OLED屏幕工厂。不过，这样的努力并没有换来老对手苹果的青睐。


消息人士称，苹果计划为LG Display的全新OLED屏幕生产线投资2-3万亿韩元（约合17.5亿-26.2亿美元）。不过两家公司合作的具体细节暂时还是个谜。


LG Display的新工厂名为E6，将于2019年正式投入使用。上个月，LG还表示计划投资35亿美元扩展OLED屏幕产能，现在来看，原来其中很大一部分资金是来自财大气粗的苹果。


对苹果来说这绝对是一笔稳赚不赔的生意，它们不但巩固了自己的OLED屏幕供应，同时还能拿到一个极具竞争力的优惠价格。在各家厂商疯狂抢夺OLED屏幕的背景下，苹果绝对是捡到了大便宜。


值得注意的是，虽然LG这座工厂将成为苹果的“后院”，但硅谷巨头依然可以从其他厂商那购买OLED屏幕。当然，这也是苹果一贯的作风，这样不但能保证稳定的零部件供应，还能让自己拥有很强的议价能力。
