Twitter产品副总裁辞职加盟风投公司。据路透社报道，硅谷顶级风投公司Greylock Partners周二证实称，他们已经招募了Twitter产品副总裁乔希·麦克法兰（Josh McFarland）为新的投资伙伴，后者刚刚从Twitter离职。



Twitter今年的处境始终十分艰难，努力寻找新的产品和功能以推动用户数量增长。麦克法兰是今年最新离职的高管，1月份时有4名高管离职，5月份时又有2人离开。


Greylock Partners宣称，麦克法兰将于明年1月份正式离职，他是2年前刚刚加盟Twitter的。当时麦克法兰创办的初创企业TellApart被Twitter斥资5亿美元收购，这是Twitter最大规模收购，麦克法兰也因此加盟了Twitter。TellApart主要是帮助企业向潜在和当前在线客户打广告。在其被收购前，这家企业年收入约为1.5亿美元。


麦克法兰与Greylock Partners长期保持亲密关系。他曾是后者的入驻创业家，即他开始创办自己的初创企业，而Greylock Partners为其投资。Greylock Partners表示，该公司10年前就想要招募麦克法兰，但被拒绝，后者后来选择自己创业。麦克法兰还曾担任过谷歌的产品经理。


Greylock Partners是硅谷最老牌的风投公司，已经投资多家高估值的成功科技公司，包括Airbnb、Dropbox、Facebook、LinkedIn、Workday以及Pandora等。今年年初，Greylock Partners完成第15轮融资，融资额度10亿美元，主要用于投资新公司。
