谷歌封杀搜索页面高利贷广告原因为何

网易科技讯 5月12日消息，据《今日美国》网站报道，迫于消费者权益机构的压力，谷歌决定不再发布小额高利贷广告，即所谓的“发薪日贷款”广告。


谷歌产品政策总监大卫·格拉夫（David Graff）在官方博客上表示，研究证明此类贷款会给用户带来无法负担的偿还压力，而且违约率较高，因此谷歌决定全面调整相关政策。

“发薪日贷款”被谷歌定义为60天内偿还，且贷款在美国的年化利率高于36%。


谷歌广告AdWords将停止向高利贷发放者开放。贷款人将无法购买放置在搜索结果上方的广告，不过此类条目仍然可以出现在正常搜索结果中。


这一限制将于今年7月13日正式生效，也就是赶在美国消费者金融保护局出台更严格规范之前生效。Facebook已于去年8月正式封杀了此类广告。


一个“发薪日贷款”行业组织称谷歌新政“存在歧视，是一种审查”。


美国加州方面去年下令，禁止贷款人收取过高手续费。谷歌与微软随后同意，从搜索广告中删除那些未获授权的高利贷发放者。


今年4月的一份调查报告显示，那些在网上寻求高利贷的消费者面临诸多隐藏风险，例如过高的业务费用，以及账户注销等。
