　2014年，苹果发布iPhone 6系列手机，开启iPhone大屏时代。时间过去五年，iPhone 6系列的全球销量已经超过2.4亿部，成为苹果最畅销的手机。即便如此，iPhone 6的综合体验已经跟不上时代，因此苹果有必要在适当的时候停止生产iPhone 6系列。据媒体报道，上游产业链传来消息，他们已经收到苹果的最新通知，将于今年5月中旬彻底停产iPhone 6系列。

苹果最早在iPhone 6系列上采用双屏幕版本的策略，销量证明这一代产品依然受到全球消费者的追捧。一般而言，一台iPhone的最佳使用时间是3年，超过3年体验就会大打折扣，而iPhone 6至今已经在市场上存在了5年时间，足见其人气之高。数据显示，到2018年，iPhone 6系列的销量依然超过苹果所有手机型号总和的10%。

随着iPhone 6系列的停产，iPhone 7系列将成为苹果定位最低的产品。上游产业链消息还称，今年9月份新款iPhone发布后，iPhone 7和iPhone 8将会被下放到3500元档，这两款手机的调价有利于苹果在更低档位市场取得更多的份额。
