联手谷歌，韩国移动运营商LG Uplus将推VR内容平台。LG Uplus同时计划推出自家的VR头显，通过推出面向Anroid应用程序的VR功能，YouTube在2015年正式入局虚拟现实。现在得益于谷歌和LG Uplus达成了VR内容制作的合作协议，这个视频分享平台将迎来又一批全新的VR内容，与LG Uplus的合作则是谷歌最新的努力。

隶属于LG旗下的移动运营商LG Uplus计划在不久的将来推出自己的VR平台应用程序，并将其作为为5G网络提供VR内容的一部分努力。对于这起在CES 2019大会宣布的合作，谷歌和LG Uplus制作的VR内容将通过Uplus的VR平台应用程序和YouTube进行分发。

这家韩国运营商没有透露应用程序的推出时间，但由于LG Uplus的5G网络将于三月铺开，所以其VR内容平台有望在未来首周内亮相。一旦5G网络正式上线，LG Uplus同时计划推出自家的VR头显。LG对VR硬件的兴趣由来已久。根据世界知识产权组织和美国专利及商标局的专利信息，即将发布的新版头显可能将搭载六个摄像头和触觉传感器。
