苹果下一代iPhone将弃用高通调制解调器

苹果下一代iPhone将弃用高通调制解调器。据CNBC网站报道，近一年前，有报道称苹果可能会在未来的产品中放弃高通调制解调器。今天，高通最终承认了这一传言，并准备采取措施应对这一损失。

美国时间周三，在公布季度财报后举行的分析师电话会议上，高通首席财务官乔治·戴维斯(George Davis)表示，该公司可以肯定地预计，苹果在下一次产品发布时将抛弃高通，转而采用“竞争对手的调制解调器”。

戴维斯称：“我们相信，苹果打算在下一代iPhone中只使用竞争对手的调制解调器，而不是我们的调制解调器。但我们将继续为苹果的传统设备提供调制解调器。”

几乎可以肯定的是，高通的竞争对手包括英特尔等。

高通一直为苹果提供调制解调器，但最近几年，由于苹果与高通之间发生专利许可纠纷，英特尔为苹果iPhone提供了一半以上的芯片。据路透社去年10月道，苹果正在设计没有搭载高通芯片的iPhone和iPad，这一变化可能会影响到2018年秋季发布的产品。

尽管遭遇这一挫折，但高通总裁斯蒂安诺·阿蒙(Cristiano Amon)似乎对该公司在市场中的地位以及未来与苹果的关系持乐观态度。

阿蒙表示：“我们对我们在调制解调器领域的领导地位感到很乐观……我们将继续投资该领域。”

他补充称：“如果机遇主动出现，我认为我们仍将成为苹果（调制解调器）的供应商。”

在公布财报数小时后，高通股价上涨了逾5%。该公司放弃了对半导体公司恩智浦的收购，并计划回购价值最高达300亿美元的公司股票。
