伴随直播大战火起来的，还有网上流传的各类“辅助工具”。网友们为了全部答对12道题，平分数额庞大的奖金，开始想方设法提高自己的正确率，有的开启找家人朋友共同答题的组团答题模式，有的试图利用科技的力量攻破“万恶”的题库，甚至还有淘宝商家像模像样地兜售起了无限复活卡和题库。


1月10日下午，搜狗王小川更是推出一款作弊神器，并声称：“这套技术是不需要问大数据库，通过机器理解语义以及搜索并给出唯一答案。” 周鸿祎更是直言：“我们撒币，你们作弊，太流氓了！”

王小川还在朋友圈放话，要火速拿下“百万赢家”！


为此，花椒《百万赢家》还“特意”设置了一个防王小川的技术部。花椒相关负责人也专就直播答题市场可能存在的作弊隐忧，明确给出回应：“现在市场上有三种方式的外挂，首先是语音识别和识图技术，所有语音识别技术的精准性、搜索结果的准确性以及反应时间来说，靠这种软件完成答题是不现实的。”

另外，有的瓜友试图变身黑客，攻破直播答题官方题库，花椒负责人更是表示这种手段不可能实现，“花椒的方式是独特的加密方案，并不能通过抓产品接口侵入题库的手段破解，我们的题库保密性是最好的。”
