12月20日，360公司于今日宣布主动、永久关闭水滴直播平台。

12日，一篇名为《一位92年女生致周鸿祎：别在盯着我们看了》的文章席卷朋友圈。文中以第一人称为写作手法，探访了几家装有360智能摄像头的店铺，指明这些店铺并未贴有直播告示，质疑其侵权用户权利。


按照陈菲菲的描述，其自称曾访问多个店家，包括素食店、餐厅、小吃店、网吧等等，这些店家都安装了360摄像头且能在“水滴直播”软件观看直播，其他用户则在软件上透过“弹幕”评头品足，最重要的是不少职员和客人对直播不知情，而且商家“极少”张贴直播告示。


随后，周鸿祎回应称，文章误导读者，混淆视听，有“黑公关”之嫌。他称，该自媒体公号在停更10个月后突然更新，是有人背后指使，并调侃称“这回被黑，肯定是又断了别人财路了。”
