日本芯片制造商瑞萨拟收购美信半导体，交易规模或达200亿美元。据国外媒体报道，日本半导体公司瑞萨（Renesas）正在与美国芯片厂商美信（Maxim）进行谈判，欲以接近200亿美元的价格对后者进行收购。

据多位知情人士透露，这项收购协议不会在短期内达成。目前瑞萨的市值大约为200亿美元，而美信的市值为160亿美元。


如果双方的交易达成，那么将延续多年来半导体行业的整合趋势，而造成这种局面的主要原因是规模效应、汽车公司的需求增加以及芯片制造成本不断上升所导致。


瑞萨在2016年击败了美信，成功的收购了半导体公司Intersil，后者的主要业务集中在移动和基础设施应用领域，市值大约32亿美元。目前两家公司已经进行了合并。


美信在之前就曾寻求过被其它公司收购。据知情人士透露，2015年美信曾与亚德诺半导体（Analog Devices）和德州仪器（Texas Instruments）进行过接触，但由于对估值的担忧，谈判最终均以失败告终。


2015年和2016年期间，半导体行业的整合交易非常频繁，其中有7笔交易规模在120亿美元以上。据其中一位知情人士透露，在进入到2017年之后该趋势有所缓和，截至去年9月半导体行业并购交易额同比下降了85%。去年11月博通对高通实施了1030亿美元恶意收购，再次让小规模的芯片厂商开始寻求“抱团取暖”。
