据彭博消息，全球各国当局担心数字货币可能成为避税天堂，尽管太迟，但监管已然开始了。英国首相特里莎·梅和印度总理莫迪等国家领导人对虚拟现金崛起为资金转移出境途径表示警惕。


各国政府担心数字货币成为“避税天堂”


美国财政部长努钦呼吁全球最大20个经济体共同努力，以确保数字货币不会“成为下一个瑞士银行账户”。以在25家上市和非上市公司的董事会中任职的David Drake为例，他总部位于纽约的家族理财室拥有逾1000万美元的数字货币和区块链投资，他正在把电子货币当作离岸银行账户使用，合法地存放海外商业利润以及减少向美国纳税。他说：“加密货币需要有一个不会扼杀这个行业的规范结构。”
