俄罗斯央行拟建全国生物识别数据库加快金融服务业数字化。俄罗斯银行(央行)表示，俄罗斯将从明年夏天开始为金融服务机构建立一个全国生物识别数据库。

据12月26日报道，俄央行在一份声明中称，该数据库将扩大银行系统的办理渠道，让人们可以在不到现场的情况下开设账户，是金融服务业数字化的重要里程碑。俄央行表示，数据要经个人同意才会存储。


报道称，建立该系统所需的相关法案将于本周通过。国有的俄罗斯电信公司被选中管理该数据库，它将收集个人数据，包括人脸图像、声音样本直至虹膜和指纹。脸部识别技术在全世界得到了消费者的认可，苹果公司最新款的iPhone手机就使用该技术来解锁。


莫斯科宣称拥有全世界最大的中央监控网络，它利用脸部识别技术帮助管理该市。国有的俄罗斯联邦储蓄银行持有俄罗斯近一半的小额存款，上月收购了俄罗斯人脸识别软件开发公司VisionLabs25%的股份，这是向建立生物统计平台，以通过人脸、声音和视网膜识别技术确认身份迈出的第一步。俄央行表示，该数据库的使用范围还将扩大至小额贷款机构和政府部门。
