Uber负面消息缠身：连公关负责人都撑不住了！美联航把乘客强行脱离飞机的事情闹得沸沸扬扬，但尽管如此，它在公关方面的遭遇似乎仍然比Uber好一些。然而，就在负面消息缠身之时，Uber的公关负责人突然离职。



外媒获得的消息显示，Uber CEO特拉维斯在公司内部邮件中宣布该公司全球公共政策和沟通主管蕾切尔·怀特斯通（Rachel Whetstone）离职。


怀特斯通随后证实这一消息，她写道：“我为我们建立的团队感到骄傲——正如我离开谷歌时一样，将有一位才华横溢的强大女性接替我的职位。”这是一句双关语：她一方面强调了Uber新任公关主管仍是女性，以此回应该公司面临的性骚扰指控；同时也暗讽了谷歌——该公司因为向女性支付的薪酬远低于男性而遭到美国劳工部的起诉。


Uber最近几个月遭遇了高管离职潮，包括工程副总裁、产品副总裁和总裁在内的多人都相继离职。


目前还不清楚怀特斯通的离职是出于自愿还是被迫为之。据悉，怀特斯通因为Uber最近遭遇的负面事件感到疲惫，而投资者也抱怨该公司形象不佳。但公平地说，即便是全世界最优秀的公关专家也难以解决该公司目前遭遇的各种负面事件。
