超级高铁：激进交通技术接近音速的速度

超级高铁是一种激进交通技术，将以接近音速的速度运送乘客。英国将要建超级高铁：从伦敦到曼彻斯特只需要18分钟。英国政府似乎也对超级高铁产生了兴趣，有意利用其连接英国北部城市，将这些城市间的通勤时间缩短至数十分钟之内。超级高铁系统初创企业Hyperloop One、Hyperloop Transportation Technologies据称都在与英国政府和私营企业谈判，计划共同在英国建设超级高铁。



Hyperloop One与英国讨论的计划是首先在曼彻斯特与利物浦之间修建超级高铁系统，这可以解决连接两座城市的许多现有交通问题，打造真正的“北方发动机”。Hyperloop One首席执行官艾伦·詹姆斯（Alan James）称，与提议在伯明翰和伦敦等北方城市之间建造高铁系统相比，超级高铁系统更具优势。


这种未来的管状网络可以大幅缩短伦敦到曼彻斯特之间的距离，乘客的通勤时间只需18分钟。詹姆斯称：“超级高铁不仅可连通伦敦，还可以连通所有英国北方大城市，包括利物浦、慢车似额头、利兹等。”


Hyperloop Transportation Technologies也在大举进入英国，正通过英国政府投资机构Innovate UK争取价值6700万美元的潜在投资。Innovate UK发言人证实，该机构正探讨建设超级高铁的可能性。他们承认：“超级高铁目前依然处于起步阶段，但其属于令人兴奋的技术，我们将会继续保持对其关注。”


虽然几方会谈很有希望达成协议，但超级高铁技术要想成为现实还需要多年时间。此外，如此庞大的基础设施项目可能要求当地政府、英国全国的鼎力支持。


英国并非对超级高铁唯一感兴趣的国家。7月份时，Hyperloop One发布了可行性方案，计划将瑞典与邻国芬兰连接起来。其他欧洲国家也希望建立超级高铁，比如利用其连通斯洛伐克的布拉迪斯拉法与维也纳和布达佩斯等。


2016年年初，研发超级高铁系统的工程师演示了利用磁铁驱动超级高铁车厢前进的系统。在内华达州沙漠中的测试显示，这套系统可加速轨道上的车厢，测试时速可达到187公里，但距离达到1223公里的时速目标依然任重道远。


超级高铁的概念是美国连续创业家伊隆·马斯克（Elon Musk）提出的，使用类似磁悬浮列车的车厢在管道网络中输送乘客和货物，时速可接近音速。但是这种技术目前在很大程度上依然停留于概念阶段，尽管其推进技术已经进行了早期测试。
